The Yonah Creek plan’s name is a tribute to our love of the Appalachian Mountains and the beautiful environs of Ellijay, Georgia, where the Satterwhite Eastern Division show home and offices are located. The name comes from Yonah Mountain, part of a scenic ridge in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest.
The Yonah Creek plan is as beautiful as its surroundings, and offers one of the more unique layouts in the Satterwhite catalog. Featuring a large family room, dining area and kitchen space beneath an impressive vaulted ceiling, the main room terminates in french doors opening to a gable end porch that can be optionally extended for a dramatic outdoor living space. In one wing, the master suite includes a spacious master bath and two large closets.
A beautifully conceived entryway sits at the central junction of the design, with a second bedroom, bath, and spacious utility room in the second wing, set at a right angle off the main living room from the master suite. Like all Satterwhite plans, the Yonah Creek can be easily modified to fit the each family’s needs with options such as a basement or a carport.
