Few people know the bayous associated with Southern Louisiana extend into the NW corner of that state, and even into neighboring areas of NE Texas. Coming in at the exact same square footage as the Little Cypress plan found in the Satterwhite catalog, the Mossey Creek is similar in size, yet discernibly different than the earlier plan.
If you are homing in on a plan of this size, you should carefully compare these two plans to see which one might work best for you. Some key differences: The Mossy Creek adopts a clever arrangement of pocket doors in the bathroom area which separates the two bedrooms. This yields an additional half bath over the Little Cypress design. On the exterior, a gable porch above the front entry breaks up the roof line and adds visual appeal.
Of course, it would be a small matter to adapt either of these plans to take on desired elements of the other. Satterwhite is always happy to modify any plan from any source, so feel free to explore options with our sales staff and designers. And don’t blame yourself if the lines blur between the Little Cypress and the Mossy Creek – we assure you there is plenty of Spanish Moss draping the trees above our local bayous.
