Not all Satterwhite floor plans include garage space, though all can accommodate modifications to include an attached garage or carport, or a semi-detached garage or carport connected to the main structure by a breezeway to shelter your family on rainy days. The Wood Hollow is a great plan design in its own right, but also a demonstration how easy it is to incorporate a garage into almost any Satterwhite plan. Or, just as easily, the garage of the Wood Hollow can be deleted. This home features a compact central staircase to access the upper level loft and bedrooms, but in many respects follows design cues from one of our most popular range of homes.
Satterwhite attention to detail, low maintenance, and longevity are evident in the full wrap around porches of the Wood Hollow. The enclosed garage is clad in cedar board and batten construction, as are exterior wood of gable ends and dormers. While Satterwhite offers other materials, such as log siding that is visually indistinguishable from our house logs, we strongly encourage use of cedar in exposed locations because of the natural resistance cedar offers to the elements, and the reduced maintenance that results.
For many families, the Wood Hollow is an ideal plan combining outstanding log home beauty, great livability, and three bedrooms with three private baths (not to mention a half bath conveniently located on the main level).
